My Story

​I’m Ugo, a leather goods modelist and designer with a deep-seated passion for crafting timeless elegance. My journey into entrepreneurship began with a rich background in the manufacturing and retail space of leather goods, where I’ve embraced every stage of the product lifecycle—from the initial spark of conceptualisation and design to the intricacies of manufacturing, distribution, and retail.

My love for creating beautifully designed items starts with the end in mind, guided by the philosophy that form should always follow function. With a foundation as an architectural technician, I spent 30 incredible years in my family's leather-goods business, a legacy founded by my father in 1962. From 1992 to 2022, I immersed myself in every aspect of the business, mastering skills in product conceptualization and development, product costing, production planning, inventory management, and range development, not to mention the vibrant world of retail.

Every piece I create is a testament to my dedication to blending form and function, ensuring that elegance isn’t just seen but experienced. My journey is driven by a commitment to excellence and an unwavering passion for design that speaks volumes in both style and substance.
